God sets up a dwelling place so he can live with his people, and his people can live with him.
That was his plan from the beginning.
What started in a garden – when he walked with Adam and Eve.
And continued in the wilderness Tabernacle.
And was further developed in the Jerusalem Temple.
Was embodied when Jesus took on flesh and dwelt amongst us.
And was extended with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
And will be completed when we dwell together with Him forever in Heaven.
You might feel alone and isolated.
You feel like you’re in a wilderness traveling on a long road to nowhere.
You feel homeless, like you have nowhere to belong.
God wants to be with you and God wants you to be with him – forever.
I’m going to prepare a place FOR YOU, and then I will come back and take you to be with me, so you can be where I am.
