Open Doors

by Dean Rerekura

I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.

Revelation 3:8

You know your past, even though here are things in your rear view mirror you would rather forget.
You know the feelings of having doors slammed in your face. Physical doors, but also doors of another kind. The doors of rejection. The doors of prejudice. The doors of silence.
You know the reality of not being strong enough. Not enough will power to get out of bed. Not enough ability to get out of a problem. Not enough energy to get through the trial and temptation.

God knows your deeds even more than you do.
Yet He has an open door policy over your life. And no one can close what God holds open.
He is strong enough to raise you up, and nothing can fall out of hands that will never let go.

So hold onto those words from Rev 3:8. They are from the One who has the words of eternal life.
Do not deny the One who holds the world in his hands.

I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. Nbr/>— Revelation 3:8
