Protection

You gave me life and showed me kindness, and in your providence watched over my spirit. Job 10:12

Job 10:12

Maybe you remember a time when you should have been safe, but you weren’t.
Or a time when you should have been protected, but people were negligent.
Can you relate to a feeling of being insecure even when surrounded by strength?

Can you envisage the horror of being in the presence of strength, and that strength being abusive?

Maybe that is a reason why so many can’t trust in God!
They can’t imagine an absolute power that won’t fail, or become corrupt, or stay controlled.
But that is not true of the True God.
The One who gives life, is also the one who counts life as precious.
Thus you are precious to Him.
The One who showed authority is also the One who showered loving kindness (grace).
The One who sees all, is the one who watches over you.
You are the apple of His eye.

He saw the crowd and had compassion on them, for they were like sheep without a shepherd.

He looked – and He sees you.
You are not ignored by him today!

You gave me life and showed me kindness, and in your providence watched over my spirit.
— Job 10:12
