Equipping The Tradies

by Dean Rerekura

Tell all the skilled workers to whom I have given wisdom in such matters that they are to make garments for Aaron, for his consecration, so he may serve me as priest.

Exodus 28:3

Notice in this verse there is a God who speaks. He has a word for the workers.
God cares about the tradies. God speaks to the blue collar contributors.
God gives skill to the workers. That tells us that God cares about a job well done.
God gives wisdom to the workers. So, not just equipping for work, but equipping for life as well.
God cares about the contribution made by the workers.
God knows about the value of your hard work.
The workers make garments. So the Priests can do their work. So that people can be blessed.

It’s the things we take for granted that when we, as followers of God, realise and recognize God’s provision, and then reflect on his greatness.

It’s the dairy farmer who milks the cows. It’s the dairy factory that takes the milk and pasteurizes it and packages it. It’s the market place that sells the the product. It’s the consumer who buys the product. It’s the benefit we receive from the product.

And God cares about it all.

Whatever you do today, recognize the ones who invest into you, think about the ones you will invest in.

And thank God that he cares!

Tell all the skilled workers to whom I have given wisdom in such matters that they are to make garments for Aaron, for his consecration, so he may serve me as priest.
