We praise you, God, we praise you, for your Name is near; people tell of your wonderful deeds.
Psalm 75:1
The God of the Bible is the True and Living God, and He is worthy of our praise.
His name is Jesus. His name means Saviour. And he is near.
That means that salvation is near. It is not far away. Today, you don’t have to go looking for God. God came looking for you. And in His Son he has found you.
When you were lost – he found you.
When you were empty – he filled you.
When you were lonely – he is near you.
When you were desperate – he saved you.
So go ahead, fulfil the words of this verse in regard to the One who fulfils every promise of God concerning you. Tell of his wonderful deeds today. And watch the One who is near – get even closer.
So today, wherever you go, go knowing that he is so near, that He is WITH you and will never ever leave. And then praise him, again and again.
