Why did God deliver His people from slavery?
So he could dwell with them!
Why did God save His people from their oppression?
So he could live with them?
Why did God bring them out by the power of His mighty hand?
So he could welcome them into His presence.
Why did God lead them where they should go?
So he would be THEIR God!
Why did God deliver us, save us, forgive us and lead us?
Why did God take on flesh and dwell with us?
Why did God send his Son to die for us?
Why did God give the Holy Spirit to guide us?
So we could be with him – now and forever!
The amazing thing about this verse:
“They will KNOW that I am the Lord THEIR God…!”
They will know that I am the LORD their God, who brought them out of Egypt so that I might dwell among them. I am the LORD their God.
