From the Head to the Heart

by Dean Rerekura

To whom can I speak and give warning? Who will listen to me? Their ears are closed so they cannot hear. The word of the LORD is offensive to them; they find no pleasure in it.

Jeremiah 6:10

Lord, you have spoken but we have been slow to listen.
You have loved us enough to give warning, but we have ignored your kindness.
You can open deaf ears – please open ours.

Let those with ears to hear, listen to the Word of God.
Let those who hear the Word of God, not harden their hearts.
Let us hear His Words – personally, powerfully, persuasively.

To be moved, amazed and embraced by the One who said “You have heard it said… but now I say to YOU…”

“You have heard it said that you are useless, but I say to you you are LOVED.”
“You have heard it said that you are unworthy, but I say to you, you are WELCOME.”
“You have heard it said that you are unwanted, but I say to you, you are MINE.”

The greatest distance travelled is the distance from the head to the heart.

To whom can I speak and give warning? Who will listen to me? Their ears are closed so they cannot hear. The word of the LORD is offensive to them; they find no pleasure in it. — Jeremiah 6:10
