God will not forget to care about you. God will not be ignorant to your needs.
He will not neglect you and leave you stranded, abandoned, isolated, alone.
You might think that if God knows as much about you as he does,
that there is no way he would like you very much.
But he has compassion on you. He is concerned about your pain.
He is conscious of your suffering. He is aware of your broken heart.
He is awake to your longings.
She was embarrassed and ashamed by everything she ever did.
But she met Jesus. And Jesus saw more in her than her past.
Jesus saw more than her shame. Jesus saw more than her rejection.
She learnt what maybe we need to learn today:
That there is more mercy in Christ than sin in us.
And there is nothing you could ever do that could cause Him to love you more.
And there is nothing you could ever be that could cause Him to love you less.
Come, see a man who told me all that I ever did. Can this be the Christ?
