Imagine a basket full of all that is hurtful and offensive in the world.
Imagine the size and weight of such a basket.
Imagine the stench and ugliness of such a basket.
And then look and see the contents of that basket poured out on Jesus Christ as he hangs dying on the cross.
As the innocent one takes the worst in our place.
Amazing Love. The Son of God suffers for me.
Then the angel who was speaking to me came forward and said to me, “Look up and see what is appearing.” I asked, “What is it?” He replied, “It is a basket.” And he added, “This is the iniquity of the people throughout the land.” Zechariah 5:5-6
