It’s Easter Saturday. It’s the day in between.
The Disciples have gathered together in fear about what’s about to happen.
The Religious and Political and Military leaders are meeting together to make sure the tomb remains secure from any ‘mischief’. It’s a day when the stench of death is still in the air for everyone involved.
I wonder if your life feel a bit like Easter Saturday.
The sad, hurtful, bruising and hateful has happened.
You trust that good will come of it.
But your stuck in the silence that is in between.
Waiting. Hoping. Fearing. Trusting.
My friend, the Easter Saturday of our lives is hard.
But believe me, it might not be before Heaven, but this is true:
Sunday is coming.
Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.
