Today we remember that freedom comes at great cost and liberty comes at great sacrifice.
And we say thank you.
Let us also remember that the One who offers refuge is also the One who is that refuge.
The One who offers shelter is also the One who is that shelter.
The One who promises our future is also the One who is our future.
His sacrificial love brought us eternal freedom.
He entered No Man’s Land, the enemy’s territory, he fought in our place, he suffered and died in our place, and came back to lead us to the Promised Land.
And we say thank you Jesus.
