No One Seems to Care

You cry out – but no one seems to listen.
You reach out – but one one seems to care.
You stand out – but no one seems to notice.
You call out – but no one seems to have the time.

And like the psalmist here, you are in trouble.

Today, remember the promises of God.
He hears the cry of the broken-hearted.
He loves the unwanted.
He welcomes the rejected.
He turns toward those that are ignored.
He is merciful to the guilty. He answers the doubter.
He forgives the transgressor.
He saves forever.
