You’ve Suffered.

by Dean Rerekura

God assails me and tears me in his anger and gnashes his teeth at me; my opponent fastens on me his piercing eyes. People open their mouths to jeer at me; they strike my cheek in scorn and unite together against me. God has turned me over to the ungodly and thrown me into the clutches of the wicked.

Job 16:9-11

You know what it’s like!
To be beaten down until you cannot stand.
To be shouted at until the noise becomes like torture.
To be falsely accused so often that you just assume you will get the blame.
To be let down and abused so much that you know trusting others is just not an option.

I’m sorry for your pain!

If I could, I would introduce you to the God who is not immune to your pain.
I would encourage you to turn to the only God who can truly say “I know how you feel!”
I would take you gently by the hand and lead you to the One who suffered unjustly for you, so that you, in the midst of this mess, might know peace, hope and love.
Maybe for the first time in a long time.
Maybe for the first time ever.

Jesus is his name.
